Ordering
Placing, changing and timing your orders.How do I place an order?
Existing customers order online any time at orders.pechters.com (opens in a new tab) with their account login, or call the bakery at (973) 483-3374. Orders in by 5 PM go out the next morning.
What is the cutoff for next-day delivery?
5 PM. That goes for new orders and for changes to tomorrow's standing order.
Can I set up a standing order?
Yes. When your account is set up we build a standing order for your delivery days. Change it any day, online or by phone, by 5 PM, and the next morning's delivery follows.
Can I try products before I order?
Yes. Request samples with your business name and address and a Pechter's rep will follow up.
Do you sell to the public?
No. Pechter's is a wholesale bakery with no retail storefront. Ask for Pechter's at your local deli or grocer.

Throughout New Jersey and Manhattan. Tell us where you are when you open an account and we confirm your delivery days.
What days do you deliver?
Monday to Saturday, with Sunday delivery to select areas.
When does my delivery arrive?
Orders placed by 5 PM go out the next morning.
Do partner bakery products come on the same delivery?
Yes. NJ Hand Rolled Bagels, International Delights, Muffins N' Stuff, Giannella's and Hudson Bread ride the same truck as our own line, with the same item numbers, the same cutoff and the same next-morning delivery. See the partner section of the catalog.

Opening one, pricing and who to call.How do I open a wholesale account?
Fill in the form on the Wholesale page or call (973) 483-3374. A Pechter's rep follows up; once your account is approved we set your delivery days and a standing order you can change any time.
Who can open an account?
Delis and sandwich shops, restaurants and diners, grocers and supermarkets, caterers and event kitchens, schools, hospitals and food service, distributors and route partners.
Where can I see prices?
The catalog lists every product with its item number. Pricing is set up with your account, and your rep walks you through it.
